Omigosh! There is yet ANOTHER “reality show” on TV, and this one stars none other than Farrah Fawcett — and her on-again/off-again lover, Ryan O’Neil.
This weekend, I was just flipping through the channels, when I came across it on TV Land. They were re-airing the first two episodes which debuted this past Wednesday. (In all, there will be 6 episodes airing Wednesday nights at 10p.m. eastern.)
Since I’m a sucker for all that is “real” (AND… I majored in “marriage & family therapy”, so all these relationship idiosyncrasies and family dynamics really intrique me), I watched the whole thing!
So, what’s it like?
Farrah Fawcett’s Reality TV Show
Think: a 50-something Jessica Simpson.
To give you an idea of the time-frame, it was taped during the time when she made a fool of herself on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Check out these sneak peeks of the show. (That’s what it’s really like, folks!)
What They’re Saying About “Chasing Farrah”
Here’s one reality TV reviewer’s take on the show. I guess everything may not be as it appears…
Then again, here’s someone who really liked the Chasing Farrah TV reality show.
Truth be told, since I’m a reality show junky, I may have to keep my eye on this site from now on. It’s a daily summary of reality TV news and it’s got the behind-the-scenes scoop on what’s “real” and what’s not on all these “reality shows”. (Here’s an example from the show Wife Swap.)
“The Osbournes” Reality TV Farewell Party
Fans of The Osbournes reality show will enjoy the upcoming Osbournes Marathon on April 17th. It will be called “Black Sabbath Day on MTV” where the channel plans to air every episode from all 4 seasons, starting at 5:30 a.m. It is to commemorate the show’s final episode which aired on March 21, 2005.
