To celebrate their new video services online, Google has posted the complete Chris Rock show “Everybody Hates Chris” on its video page.

I’m glad they did, because while I like Chris Rock and enjoy his humor, I probably would not take the time to watch his show on TV. No real reason, except that I don’t make a point to watch ANY shows on TV these days.
After hearing that Google posted the entire show online, I decided to check it out.
My summary:
- It’s funny! Really.
- It moves at a fast-enough speed that you’re not bored or always looking for “something funny” to happen.
- It’s set in the early 80’s and the entire show takes on that feel — complete with Care Bears glasses on the dinner table (…you know, those collectible glasses that Pizza Hut was selling way back when!)and…
- Google’s video services appear to be stellar, with the lips matching up with the words, the viewing screen being relatively large, and the images being relatively crisp.
- The bonus: no commercials.NOTE: Word is, Google is removing the Chris Rock video this Thursday, so be sure to check it out before then!
