Who knew that Indiana University's coach, Mike Davis, would have so many enemies?
It appears he's got quite a following over on the "Fire Mike Davis" website!
I'm an IU grad, and a lukewarm fan of Indiana University basketball these days, but what caught my attention was the lead story today: "Bob Knight A Fan Of This Site"
I also noticed another post on FireMikeDavis.com entitled "Bob Knight Calls Mike Davis A Joke"
This website is filled with sarcasm and humor. But one thing's for sure, the visitors to this site are NOT fans of IU basketball coach Mike Davis! (Check out the forum to get an idea.)
They're running a countdown clock showing when Mike Davis will receive his $300,000 bonus.

Personally, I think its a mistake we have chased Mike Davis away from coaching at IU. I think given somemore time another NCAA Mens B-ball Champ. Banner would be hanging in the A-hall in Bloomington. Yes, he can recruit and coaching was still a learning process with just a few more years to go. IU did Coach Knight wrong and now we ( IU and its fans ) are doing Coach Davis wrong. I was born and still live in Indiana across the Ohio River from a state thats ready to hang the coach of a major power ( UK ) every time it does not win. I hate to see the fine state of Indiana get that way!! Good Luck IU and to Coach Davis to your future. Let's all hope & pray that he does not come back to haunt us. Thats my view.
davis is gone im glad and so are all the hardcore i.u. fans!we dont need alford he has a winning % like that of davis and is not provin to be a good recruiter so let get a guy that is provin in both areas.like mark few or rick majerus.
Mike Davis is a good man, but can't coach, at least at a big league school. He does need to go, and I would like to see Steve Alford come to IU. They did Coach Knight dirty in the first place, he should've stayed his last 2yrs at IU. All he did for IU, and they pulled that dirty trick on him. I was hoping than that Steve Alford would be at IU, when Coach Knight resigned. We need a top rated coach at IU, and I think Coach Alford could do the job. I'm hoping that he's ready to come back home.

Indiana fans are out for blood, instead of showing support for Mike Davis the troops have rallied against him, myabe they need to recall Knight, that's the kind of coaching they need. If this is how they feel, why did they let Knight go?
I follow college bball intensely and I hope IU goes down to defeat.
With the record they have, no decent coach would want the job,

Mike Davis is a total joke and disgrace to the state of Indiana and IU Basketball team. Anyone with any common sense would tell you that Mike Davis has no clue what he is doing when he steps onto the court. He shouldnt be allowed to coach a bittie ball team. From all the IU fans at North Harrison High School
As a True Red and White IU Basketball fan, I agree Davis has been here too long. After his first, glorious trip to the final game (with a team selected by knight) it has been downhill.
