Some random tidbits of things I recently found interesting…
- American Airlines Guarantee
now offers a “lowest fare guarantee” — so does Northwest and Continental.
- Iraqi Voters In Nashville
Nashville had the highest Iraqi voting turnout in the United States.
- Cell Phone Use Ages Young Drivers
According to this study, young motorists who talk on their cell phone while driving react and move as slowly as the elderly do. Now THAT’s scary!
- Jenny, I’ve Got Your Number
Check it out. This guy’s on a mission… to call the “Jenny, Jenny” number (867-5309) in every area code to see if it actually is a working number. He’s trying to dispell a myth.
- In His Mother’s Arms
I referenced this before in a prior post, however, I didn’t explain what the article is about and why I like it… This is a multi-part article that appeared in our local newspaper about a baby who lived a very short life. There are so many touching things I took away from this article, but mostly the phrase that summarizes it all for me is: “Read this and be grateful”.
I like to help people find unique ways to do things in order to save time & money — so I write about “outside the box” ideas that most wouldn’t think of. As a lifelong dog owner, I often share my best tips for living with and training dogs. I worked in Higher Ed over 10 years before switching gears to pursue activities that I’m truly passionate about. I’ve worked at a vet, in a photo lab, and at a zoo — to name a few. I enjoy the outdoors via bicycle, motorcycle, Jeep, or RV.
