Remember when I wrote about sites that compare shipping costs for packages? Well, that's helpful when you have to ship something (even a letter) and you first want to find out which courier service is the cheapest -- UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc.
Turns out, there's a similar site that compares prices of photo printing sites, too. I bet this is one that most of us will be using on a regular basis!
Yesterday, I mentioned my top pick for photo holiday cards.
Today, we look at the top 5 holiday card companies chosen by Good Housekeeping (in the December 2007 issue of the magazine).
Here's a good (and fun!) Black Friday deal for you...
I actually purchased 2 of these ornaments from QVC the other day when they were a "Today's Special Value". That means they were priced exceptionally low ($39.00 for 2) on that day only.
But wait... there's more!
Have you ever accidentally deleted some photos from your camera's memory card (SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, IBM Micro Drive, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital card, or any other common data storage devices for digital cameras)?
We hadn't until yesterday. Jim was on the road. When he's at the races, he sends me a fresh batch of photos to upload to his racer's websites each day. Only, on this day, he accidentally deleted half of the pictures before he actually sent them to me.
And of course, they were the best ones... the photos that people were eagerly waiting to see online!
I did a little research here at home and found a FREE program that saved the day...

So, if you've been thinking about trying Photo Stamps before, now may be the best time because:
I've written about fun & creative USB drives before.
Here are two of them:
Humping Dog USB Thumb Drive (...Jim bought 3 of these!)
Keychain Memory Card Reader & USB Flash Drive (...I still want one of these)
I recently found another one. It's the USB drive made from a Lego block!

Check it out...
I've written a lot about the fun things you can do with Flickr before...
Those posts have been well received, so now I present you with the mac-daddy of all Flickr fun sites.
In case you haven't experimented with Flickr photos yet, listen up... what follows are EASY and fun things that you can do with your photos online! All you need is a digital camera and a computer with access to the Internet. Best of all these things are all FREE!
According to The Art of Money:
"Adobe is planning a free online version of Photoshop, but while we wait (until late 2007)..."
Woah. Really?
That would be tooooo cool.
Question: What do you need a photo editor for?...
Answer: To remove red-eye, resize, crop, rotate, lighten or darken or apply fun effects to any digital photograph.
