I'm also doing this because the radio station this hottie works for (101 WRIF in Detroit) has requested these photos. And hey, they're really good photos. Jim shot these at the IHRA race in Milan, Michigan in August.

So I'm sharing... for all to enjoy!

We're so busy these days, that we often try to combine "vacation" time with scheduled business trips.

That's how it went last month when we followed a weekend at the racetrack (the work part) with a couple days at the beach (the fun part)...

As part of Jim's new "gig" as a stay-at-home dad (...to our two DOGS!) and owner of Squeaky Wheel Marketing, Jim helps crew for Terry McMillen at IHRA drag racing events.

He managed to talk me into going with him this time... under the premise that we'd combine it with a fun stay on the beach afterwards.

We drove a couple hours from a racetrack in Milan, Michigan to a beach house in Stevensville, Michigan.

Our destination: Chalet on the Lake, where our friends own one of the little chalets on Lake Michigan.

This was relaxed, beachy, summertime FUN at its finest!
