The seven wonders of the world may never be the same again...

That's because they're reevaluating the current list of top 7 wonders of the world, and they're inviting you to have a say in the final list of the world's wonders.

"Maybe it simply feeds modern society's obsession with lists and rankings, but more than 2,000 years after ancient Greeks identified the Seven Wonders of the World, millions of people around the globe are casting Internet ballots to update the list." Source

Better check the time!... photo (c)FreeFoto.com ...Time to change your burned-out lightbulbs, the batteries in your smoke detectors, flip the mattresses, clean out the gutters, and why not just schedule your next mammogram while you're at it? (They say it's good to schedule such things around pertinent dates, such as your Birthday... or Daylight Savings Time, right?)

Each year, at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in April, we spring forward an hour. Then at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday in October, we fall back an hour.

Get ready, folks... Tonight's the night!!

If you're wondering what time it is RIGHT NOW, then check the official U.S. Naval Observatory Master Clock Time here.
If you want to know which time zone you (or someone else) is in, then check the Official U.S. Time page to see exactly where the time zones change.

THIS year, we finally made it to Arizona for some Cactus League games. We watched the Chicago Cubs vs San Francisco Giants.

Our Spring Training Tradition

| Comments (0)

We've seen the Cleveland Indians (Jim's favorite!) more than any other team Another of our long-standing traditions...

Each March, we try to attend at least one day of Major League Baseball's spring training games.

Spring Training games are played in Florida (Grapefruit League) and Arizona (Cactus League) each year. Usually we drive to all-points Florida to catch the games, but in 2005 we finally made it to Arizona for the first time.
