If you've always wanted Photoshop, but couldn't afford the high price tag ($1,000 for the full Photoshop version, or $100 for Photoshop Elements), now's your chance to use Photoshop for FREE from now on.
Adobe has created an online-version of their Photoshop program. They call it Adobe Photoshop Express.
One of the best things about it is the fact that the program is completely Web-based so you can access it from any computer at any time.
Check it out!...
With our latest purchase of a mega sized duffel bag on wheels for Jim's travels, I have come to the realization that Jim has more bags than the average human being should have a right to own.
I guess that's because he's got more electronics and gear than the average human being. That, and he needs to have a compact, lightweight, and portable means of getting all of his gear from one place to another.
And when you put 2 gadget-friendly people in the same household... watch out! We have fun (and practical) bags coming out of our ears... and we use them all on a daily basis, too.
A diehard scrapbooker (Creative Memories 12x12 albums) for nearly 20 years, I gave up scrapbooking 2 years ago.
Why? Because it was so time-consuming... and so expensive to keep buying all of the embellishments & papers.
Yep, even after I'd invested hundreds (no, I mean thousands!) of dollars in supplies for my all-time favorite hobby, I gave it all up cold turkey one day.
That's why I was so thrilled to see there's a new computer scrapbooking program called My Memories Suite.
Remember when I wrote about sites that compare shipping costs for packages? Well, that's helpful when you have to ship something (even a letter) and you first want to find out which courier service is the cheapest -- UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc.
Turns out, there's a similar site that compares prices of photo printing sites, too. I bet this is one that most of us will be using on a regular basis!
They showed these photo personalized Macy's gift cards on The View today.
Everyone on the show was really excited about them, so I thought I'd check 'em out online and see what all the hype was about.
I recently got a new camera -- because Jim's always out of town using our beloved Canon Digital Rebel.
I decided not to get a Canon... despite the fact that we have never been happier with the digital photos shot with our Digital Rebel.
Check out these photos on Flickr taken with a Canon Digital Rebel.
I simply wanted to try something different for a change. And I wanted to be able to compare digital cameras to see if there really was a difference -- especially between manufacturers.
Well, there is...
Have you ever accidentally deleted some photos from your camera's memory card (SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, IBM Micro Drive, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital card, or any other common data storage devices for digital cameras)?
We hadn't until yesterday. Jim was on the road. When he's at the races, he sends me a fresh batch of photos to upload to his racer's websites each day. Only, on this day, he accidentally deleted half of the pictures before he actually sent them to me.
And of course, they were the best ones... the photos that people were eagerly waiting to see online!
I did a little research here at home and found a FREE program that saved the day...
