Fellow offroaders making Red Rock t-shirts in the red mud that resulted from the afternoon rain showers.

Making Sedona Red Rock T-shirts

We also passed these offroaders who were part of the local Nissan Xterra off-road club.

They had pulled off near a small puddle on the Broken Arrow Trail where people were turning their "ho-hum, everyday white T-shirts" into "one-of-a-kind Sedona Red Rock T-shirts" -- a prized possession that tourists pay big bucks for in the souvenir shops.

...notice the guy with the white plastic bag? He probably purchased a white t-shirt JUST to bring it here an turn it Sedona Red!

(NOTE: Nena says the dirt is so iron-rich that it permanently stains the material a reddish-orange, and you don't have to worry about it washing out.)
