It was a Saturday afternoon and we decided to drive our new Jeep Wrangler to the Land Between The Lakes (at the Kentucky/Tennessee border) to see what the Turkey Bay ORV Area was like.

By the time we got there, it was getting dark, so we opted to save the "real" adventure for next time.

We spent the last hour or so of daylight venturing off the beaten path on our own.

Since it had recently rained, we came across a lot of muddy spots like this. Despite the fact that the Jeep was coated in mud on our drive back home, this was a relatively tame offroading experience.

We plan to head back to Turkey Bay in the near future.
