Our very first IHRA event in San Antonio was partially rained out, so they rescheduled some make-up races there the following week.

So, we packed all our gear and headed back to San Antone... in the same van that we initially drove. That is, AFTER we replaced the wheel bearings! It seemed nothing was going right for us vehicle-wise last time... just as we were pulling into Nashville, the van became completely undrivable!

The trailer that we initially lugged all our stuff to San Antonio in was left at the racetrack awaiting our return visit. Just our luck, it had a busted spring. We had it "fixed" on the way to the racetrack the last time, but the repair didn't quite hold up, and we didn't see the need to pull that trailer to Nashville and back with all the weight of our "stuff". So, we opted to leave the trailer at the racetrack & planned to drive it home empty (after we sold all the remaining PitPass programs on our 2nd visit). That was the plan...

And this time, there were just 4 of us: Mike, John, Jim and Lynnette. We lost all our help to full-time jobs and other obligations.
