Kay decided to drive from Indiana to Nashville, spur of the moment to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

She left in the wee hours of the morning and arrived early in the morning -- Nashville time.

We were looking forward to her visit. This was our first Thanksgiving in our new house, and we had prepared a turkey and all the fixins.
