Before we even moved in, we painted all of the rooms in the house (including ceilings).

We started with a blank canvas -- all white walls and no accent pieces. Boy, were these rooms crying out for COLOR!

Plus, our life had been a "sea of beige" everywhere we lived in the past, so the thought of bringing some color into our world seemed refreshing.

Besides, the eye can see over 7 million colors... why in the world would anyone paint with only 1???

The first room we painted was the living room, then the adjoining hallways.
