We chose to see the City via a ferry ride around Manhattan Harbor.

It was also the ONLY way to get close enough to "Ground Zero" -- since the tragic events happened only a couple weeks earlier.

It was very surreal... from the boat, Ground Zero was only a few hundred yards from Ellis Island, and we could view all the damage from many different angles.
