Suzie looking for shells.

We Beached Our Craft...

We took a break from our jet-skiing to spend some time on the beach.

Lynnette was looking for sandollars on the shore, while Suzie was searching for them in the shallow water.

That's all well & good, but... no one was aware of the fact that the tide had gone out. And now our very heavy jet-ski was stranded in a huge rut of wet sand!

Now, some of you may know that you should keep an eye on the tide whenever you're out riding around in a boat... or a jet-ski.

And, the last warning the guy gave us before we pushed off on our jet ski was: "Whatever you do, don't beach your craft!"

...which means:
"Don't leave it parked too high up on the shore while you're out playing in the water, cuz if the tide's going out, your jet ski will become wedged in the sand. And they're very heavy to get un-stuck!"

Unfortunately, the tide got the best of us, and we did in fact "beach our craft" on Caladesi Island. We had to be "rescued".
