Jim's Christmas gift to himself was a 1999 Chevy Malibu! He bought it on December 26, 1999.

It was formerly a rental car with very few miles, and it was in great condition. He had traded in his Ford Explorer for something with better gas mileage.

When Jim drove up in the new "used" car he'd just purchased, I didn't like it much at first.

I called it his Barbie-doll car... as in "Malibu Barbie"!
