I'm a writer, record collector and occasional critic. Every collector has a story about the first jazz record they bought, but I can't remember mine! I can't remember a time when I didn't love jazz, and for the most part I blame that on my Dad's CD collection.

From those early days I've built quite a collection of my own, ranging from the sweetest melodies to the craziest skronky freakouts. I love it all, and I hope you'll keep your ears open: I've got this record you've gotta hear...
