Flat Daddies and Flat Mommies are life-size printed posters of parents who are actively serving overseas in the military. These posters are available free (plus $9.50 for shipping & handling) to the spouse of a deployed service person through the generous support of our sponsors.

Hi Everyone. You might know me because Flat Daddy started as a connection idea in my first book "I'm Already Home" back in 2003 and I hold the trademark. You're right about the free program ending in mid 2008 due to lack of donations, but Eric at SFC Graphics and my office here are continually working on finding funding sources, including the Red Cross, to get the program back up and running. In fact I'm attending a 3 day seminar in Feb. to learn how to approach sponsors and non-profits to participate. My office is keeping a record of names and email addresses of families who would like to be "on a list" for getting a Flat Daddy for free as funds arrive. Hey you need to update you're info Flatt daddies are no longer free to military familys I don't care I still ordered one but the offer ended 2 months ago you need to fix it so others don't get burned like I did!!!
As a way to help support the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services and the Flat Daddy program, companies and organizations can donate money to OFFSET the costs of making this program possible. Donations are used to cover the costs of making Flat
Daddies available free to children affected by the military deployment of a parent.
