100 Sites in 100 Days - Day 1: Google Videos

| Comments (2)

Do I really have time for this? You bet I don't! I can't even believe I'm starting it.

Here goes - I promise this will be the longest post of the 100 days. I'm too busy "Fanoogling" (as Lynnette would call it) or experiencing my own "Funtainment".

So, as I journey across the Internet over the next 100 days you'll get to vist with me as I divulge my "#1" site of the day. The site that made me stop and say, "That was pretty cool." It might be funny, it might be geeky, it might even be strange or personal.

Whatever it is - are you ready?

Here we go....

Day One: Google Videos

In honor of our "made up" word of Fanoogling - let's start at Google. You know, the new Microsoft. The folks that want to know everything about me - and for whatever reason - I like them.

Did you know that Google now has the capabilty of searching videos? And better yet, letting you display them on your site. This was an easy way for me to kill an hour.... so, don't even start if you don't have an hour to kill at Google Videos.

Here are a handful that made me laugh or think....

The Internet is for Porn

Don't Let Me Get That Bone

Jeep - Bouncy and Fun

Do You Belive in Ghosts?

Before Viewing...

This one is really wild, but make sure you read the info below before you view the video and turn up the volume if you can. This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.

Watch the front end of the car closely as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky!

Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, you'll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but it seems to be authentic!

Now, get back to work would you?... I'm talking to me!

...Thanks Kerry for the motivation to do this!

Dammit Jim! The British car ad caught me off guard, to say the least, whilst I was drinking my coffee. "Cleanup in aisle 1!"
