Golf Jokes

The Golfer's Prayer:
Lynnette, Jim and Kay telling jokes in the golf cart. Now I lay thy club to ball
I pray the hole thy ball will fall
If I should die lacking one last hack at it
I pray thy Lord will take a whack at it
But if thy Lord should somehow blow it
I've seen Your club
Oh God, don't throw it!

Hi,

It is not Fat Annie...it is my Aunt Virginia who was married to Calvin Nelson. Uncle Cal is now deceased. My aunt and uncle went under the show name of Zeb and Cousin Easy. Uncle Cal had been in show business with his first partner, Mandy. They performed under the stage name "Ma and Pa Perkins," as well as "Zeb and Mandy." After he partnered with my aunt, the record producer misunderstood my aunt's cursive "Z" for a "J," so some of their records were produced under Jeb and Cousin Easy. However, they also performed under the names Zeb and Cousin Easy. My aunt became Cousin Easy at one of my uncle's performances when Mark Denning (of "Teen Angel" fame) wanted her to come up on stage with Uncle Cal. She did not perform with Uncle Cal when they were first married. Mark Denning said to the crowd, "Let's give Easy a big hand. Come on Cousin Easy." Everyone started clapping. She said she was so embarrassed that she came up on the stage and joined Zeb in the act. And so "Cousin Easy" was born.
I have heard her redo the her part of the act in recent years....sounds just the same.
She loves knowing that people are still enjoying their comedy. In fact, I have sent her the link to this webpage for her to enjoy.

Thanks so much!

Hi Chrystie, I remember the song you're speaaking of. They also did the Pool Game. My brother had them on 45 rpm records. I can't find those anywhere either. If I find them I'll let you know and you please do the same. I remember they were hillarious.

The title is "The Golf Game" I am looking for it myself. It was done by a man and woman. I think she was called Fat annie or Chubby Annie. They also did a skit called "The Pool Game" I would like to find them as well.

Chryste Horton

I am desperatly in search of an old comedy skit where a woman is telling her husband about the game of golf. Of course this sounds like it should be "X"rated, but it is simply about the game of golf. I cannot remember who does the skit (the name of the man and woman) nor do I remember the exact name of the piece. With that inacurate amount of info is there any way you have an idea of what I
am talking about? HELP!!!
