Curbside Parking... Literally!

| Comments (1)

Jim always says: "If you can't drive it, don't buy it!" (in reference to people who seem to have no clue as to how to drive -- or park -- their SUVs).

Perhaps that phrase has never been more relevant than today... when we spotted this Chevy SUV parked (kind of!) at the Golden Corral.

Curbside parking taken to a whole new level.

The reason: This vehicle still had the window stickers on the side window and "Auto Dealer" tags!

So, either this was an actual auto dealer -- who should have a better grasp on SUVs -- especially parking them! Or, this was a potential SUV owner who was just "trying it out" for the weekend. To which my advice would be: Keep shopping.

...Remember, if you can't drive it, don't buy it.

No Kidding! I have a 79 year old mother who is all of 5'2" tall and an 85 year old Aunt who is all of 4'10" and they want to drive the largest cadillacs and Town Cars that they can find!
I finally told my mom that if she has to put a pillow in the seat to see above the steering wheel and a pillow for her back to get her closer to the steering wheel, that she needs a smaller car!

It's not just the SUV drivers!

Watch out for those little old ladies in their cruisers!
