Lynnette

Check It Out... Me & Tim Made The Newspaper!

Self-portrait of the two of us through one of those little concave 'blind spot' mirrors... taken while driving in our Jeep! ...Who's Tim? Why my husband, of course!

I know, you'd think that "Lynnette" (with two N's no less) would be the harder of the two names to remember, but the truth is, this isn't the first time that Jim has been mistaken for "Tim"... or "Tom".

(We even spent an entire WEEKEND at BlogNashville with this guy... our dear, dear friend, Joe Lance.)

Trust me, this ribbing is all in good fun...

We don't mind when people forget our first names, or even SPELL them wrong (see newspaper article).

At least they know what we stand for: FUN!
And where to find us: http://thefuntimesguide.com!

Here's the newspaper article...

CLICK to read Page 1 of the 3-page spread on Williamson county Tennessee bloggers from the July 6, 2005 issue of the Franklin 'Review Appeal'.

As you can see, our part pretty much took up the entire front page.

Here's the rest of the story...

Kudos to our fellow Williamson county, Tennessee bloggers who were also featured...
I especially like Randy's Ethos site and Donald's One Hand Clapping site.

By the way, these and many more Tennessee Bloggers can be found at our OTHER site: http://tennesseebloggers.com

I think I saw an anticle in your paper about a newly opened business in the area. This business had hooked up with many local restaurants to offer an on-line menu from each, and delivery of order to one's home for a fee of less than $6. Can you furnish the name of the delivery service or the web site? Thanks, Paula
