I couldn't believe it when I got in my car to go home after work today, and the rearview mirror-slash-compass-slash-thermometer read 104 degrees!
And it remained at 104 for most of the entire drive home (about 40 minutes during rush hour), until a cold front hit us...
...yep, that reads 103 degrees!
A Sight For Sore Eyes
I know I'm a Jeeper now, and I "should" be riding around with the top down ALL the time, but unfortunately today I couldn't.
This was another sight, as viewed from the inside of my Jeep:
Nope, there was no riding "top down" TODAY... not with my mega sunburn from this weekend's beach retreat with Neil & Abby. (Even the hair dryer this morning produced too much heat for my about-to-peel forehead!)
No Relief From The Heat
It doesn't look like there will be any break from all this heat anytime soon.
