How Are You Living Your 'Dash'?

| Comments (0)

Today in church, Dave spoke about our tendency as a society to rush through life -- over-busy and under-satisfied.

Do you feel like you're running in circles? Spinning your wheels? Unable to focus? Overwhelmed? Got a "To Do" list longer than your grocery list? Doing a lot of different things, but not getting anything "done"?

Today's message reminded me of this awesome poem with an incredible point-of-view on Life.

It's all about living your life so you'll have no regrets...

It's called The Dash and it was written by Linda Ellis.

You know how a tombstone shows one's date of BIRTH, then a "dash", followed by one's date of DEATH?...

Have you ever stopped to consider that YOUR "dash" will represent all of your years on this Earth?

..."what mattered most of all was the dash between those years."

Are you happy with how you're living your "dash"?

..."So when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions to rehash, would you be pleased with the things they have to say about how you spent your dash?"
