Listen Up... I'm Gonna Be on the Radio!

Jim with headphones being interviewed by a sports radio show to discuss 'the art of tailgating' Gooooooood morning! I just wanted to take a minute to share my excitement with everyone... Yesterday afternoon I was interviewed by Bob Goldsholl from Bloomberg Radio in New York City, and our conversation was taped to air this coming Saturday, September 25th at 8a.m., 11a.m. and 1p.m. (all times Eastern).

To hear it on the air, simply click here at one of the above times. Next to "Bloomberg Live Radio, you'll notice you can choose to listen via Windows Media Player or Real Audio. Just click on the "speed" of your connection, and wa-lah... you're listening live online!

What in the world would anyone want to put me on the radio for, you ask?!...
Well, Lynnette and I wrote an article about tailgating for our 4Wheeldrive/Offroading Website, and the corporate office for About.com thought it deserved some national attention.

Seems it's quite timely since it's tailgating time now with the start of Football season.

Good news: This is just one of 4 different radio interviews that I'll be doing in the coming weeks!

  1. Bloomberg - taped on Wednesday (9/22); airing Saturday (9/25).
  2. Friday (9/24) - I'm being interviewed by Toby from "The Locker Room with Toby Howell and Bob Castle" show on Fox Sports Radio (790 KJRB) out of Spokane, Washington. You can listen at 6:30p.m. (Central) here.
  3. Monday (9/27) - Gary Radnich (KNBR) out of San Francisco, Calif. is interviewing me for his show at 9:30am (Central). You can listen live here.
  4. Tuesday (9/28) - I'll be on John Sherman's show for ESPN Radio out of Terre Haute, Indiana at 4:30pm (Central).

All will be featuring unique segments about tailgating.

Looks like I'll be testing out my public speaking skills... all across the country.

Wish me luck!
